Join Santa at the Amazing Magical Chesterfield Santa House

Every Saturday and Sunday, from Saturday 4 December plus Monday 20, Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 December 2021

Chesterfield Market Hall, Assembly Rooms, Market Place, Chesterfield S40 1AR

It is free to come along – but all visits must be booked in advance

The Amazing Magical Chesterfield Santa House is Santa’s Christmas pop up experience where he can have those last-minute chats about Christmas wish lists.

Everyone is welcome to come in and have a chat with Santa using his magical technology – the ‘Santa Zoomer’.

Only the highest-ranking of the elf family usually use the ‘Santa Zoomer’ to speak to Santa, so this is a very special treat for everyone who comes along.

The ‘Santa Zoomer’ is exclusive to Chesterfield, so that’s really exciting for everyone joining us this festive season.

Santa will also take a photograph, which will automatically be emailed to you, and as if by magic, Santa will be with you in the picture too.

It will seem like Santa has actually been with you the entire time as this is Chesterfield’s Magical Christmas.

As well as being magical, this is also a safe Christmas. Santa and his elves have been working hard to ensure the Santa House can be safely visited. You’ll be asked to turn up ten minutes before your time slot; to use the hand sanitiser before you go in. We recommend that you wear a face covering and We kindly request that guests complete a lateral flow test before their visit too. If you do test positive for Covid-19, please cancel your booking and do not attend.

And don’t forget there cannot be more than six of you in the same group.

Support our charities

Santa is taking the opportunity to raise some money for the Mayor of Chesterfield’s two charities. Santa hopes you can donate to the charities supported by the Mayor. The charities are The Volunteer Centre – Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire and Chesterfield Samaritans

Normally there is a small charge to see Santa in his grotto but as the Santa House is very different from a grotto there is no charge. You’ll see how magically different it is when you visit but take a look at the FAQ page to find out more.
